PRESIDENT
Mr. Kuhl co-founded Wallace, Van Alstine & Kuhl in 1984 and has since acted as Principal in charge of Laboratory, Earthwork and Construction Testing Services. Mr. Kuhl has been responsible for Geotechnical Engineering Services for many large planned community developments, such as Serrano El Dorado, Whitney Oaks, Lakeside Community and Riverlake. Mr. Kuhl's specialty is large scale earthwork projects. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis. He is registered by the State of California as a Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer. Mr. Kuhl previously worked for another consulting firm as Vice President of Earthwork Construction and for the State of California Department of Transportation. Mr. Kuhl is a member of the American Council of Independent Laboratories, the Building Industry Association of Superior California and the Association of Soil and Foundation Engineers.

Mr. Wallace co-founded Wallace, Van Alstine & Kuhl in 1984 with partners Charles Van Alstine and Douglas Kuhl. Mr. Wallace has performed or overseen literally thousands of geotechnical investigations in the past 36+ years, including studies for high-rise buildings, small and large commercial structures, bridge foundations, waterworks structures, and residential subdivisions. Mr. Wallace is registered by the State of California and Nevada as a Civil Engineer and is also a California Registered Geotechnical Engineer. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, Mr. Wallace has over 35 years of experience in construction materials testing and construction quality control. Mr. Wallace has been a member of and has served in officer capacity for a variety of professional organizations such as the Structural Engineers Association of Central California, the Construction Specifications Institute, the American Society of Civil Engineers, California Geotechnical Engineers Association, and the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

DIRECTOR OF GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
Mr. French has been a project and senior engineer in charge of over 1000 geotechnical investigations throughout the greater Sacramento area and Northern California. Projects have included residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial projects, high-rise structures, schools, sewage treatment facilities, communication towers, roads, bridges and pipelines. Mr. French received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. Mr. French is registered in the State of California as a Civil Engineer and a Geotechnical Engineer. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineers, the Structural Engineers Association of Central California (Board of Directors, 1996-1998), and the American Public Works Association.

SENIOR ENGINEER
Mr. Gius has been employed in the fields of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology since 1985 and has been the project engineer for over 800 projects. His projects have included geotechnical and geologic studies for schools, hospitals, fire stations, commercial/industrial projects, and residential subdivisions. Mr. Gius has performed numerous site specific ground response studies for earthquake analyses of structures as well as forensic analyses of distressed structures in the Sacramento Valley. Mr. Gius received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. His studies concentrated on the fields of engineering geology, geotechnical engineering and open-channel hydraulics. Mr. Gius is a registered Civil Engineer, registered Geotechnical Engineer, registered Geologist and a Certified Engineering Geologist in the State of California. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Association of Engineering Geologists, the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, the Structural Engineers Association of Central California, and is past President of the California Geotechnical Engineers Association (1999-2000).

SENIOR ENGINEER
Mr. Smith has been employed in the geotechnical engineering field since 1988. His project experience includes geotechnical and geologic studies for commercial and industrial projects, residential subdivisions, highrise and midrise structures, schools, prison and correctional facilities, pavement design and rehabilitation, water treatment and distribution systems, buried pipeline, and drainage projects. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Mr. Smith is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
